I shopped at Whole Foods for the first time the other day and realized I had zoomed past all the aisles only to find myself fixated on a children's book about the beach.
Upon realizing this, I remembered I did the same thing while looking for a spot to sit at the library, earlier that evening. I walked right to a Dr Seuss book and didn't want to leave.
It's weird moments like that where you just want to turn down the complicated knob and hover over simple. My eyes get misty on the bus and I cry once I'm home. D'Arcy is pretty used to this by now. He can even tell it's coming by a mili second of a silence over the phone. I can't even express how grateful I am to have someone I can be this pathetic and vulnerable in front of. Thank you, DD.
So yes, despite all this, it's Fall and it's beautiful and cozy and, as of today, I know this whole documentary thing is right for me.
More to come on that. For now, here are grams of my 'anchors' over the last few days.
Earl Grey Tea Macaron. I paid a whopping $1.96 for this bad boy.
Savoured every single bite after throwing my bike on a #20 bus.
Leggings and jean dresses even though D'Arcy isn't a fan.
Idealess hungry girl finds food idea thanks to fellow Instagrammers.
Roasted carrots, beets, onion, sweet potato- with ras en el hanout spice mix, honey, and olive oil.
I ate the whole baking sheet o veggies with my favourite fork.
That beach book I was telling you about...

I have put off my first blog post for about two months now. That's it. It's nothing spectacular, nor revolutionary, nor beautiful but it's something; which is everything, no?
'Babiosa' is a new nickname. It has bounced off the walls of our household, travelled through phone connections, and been yelled from afar within the past few weeks.
New nicknames call for first blog post. Amirite?
